Seminar on Double Layer Capacitors
& Hybrid Energy Storage Devices
Seminar Overview
The seminar is organized by Dr.
Nikola Marincic.
This year's seminar will continue the discussion of electrochemical double layer
capacitors and other high power energy storage devices from previous meetings.
It will provide an update on the current status and potential applications of
these high power energy storage devices. The 2005 seminar saw the introduction
of two tutorials on the Monday morning prior to the start of the lectures. Due
to their overwhelming success, two new tutorials are scheduled for this year's seminar.
About the Conference
-
WHO IS COMING TO SPEAK:
Manufacturers of electrochemical double
layer capacitors and hybrid energy storage devices, developers of nanocarbon
and other supercapacitor electrode materials, scientists and engineers
active in research and development of electrochemical power sources. The 2009
seminar included participants from 11 countries.
-
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
R&D directors and personnel, design, manufacturing, product and
application engineers, marketing and sales groups, corporate executives,
patent attorneys, investment company representatives and all others interested
in supercapacitors and other alternative energy technologies.
-
WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE:
Each registered participant will receive a preprinted Seminar Proceedings
book containing the papers as submitted by the speakers, as well as a list
of participants. A CD containing the original color version of the papers
will also be available for purchase at the seminar at a reduced cost to the participants.

Read an
article about the 2004 Seminar published in Battery and Energy Storage Technology
magazine.
"There aren’t many technical conferences where a paper and its
presenter shoots down the technical arguments and findings of the one which
preceded it."
The 2009 seminar was attended by participants from around the
world.
