22nd International Seminar on Double Layer Capacitors
& Hybrid Energy Storage Devices

Note: The Call for Papers will open for the 2012 Seminar in the Spring of 2012.
Call for Papers Information

This, the original supercapacitor seminar, which was started as an annual event 22 years ago, is focused on the continuing progress of the development of electrochemical capacitors and hybrid energy storage devices. The topics for the papers submitted include:

  •   Structure and properties of the electrochemical double layer

  •   Electrode materials with emphasis on modified carbon, graphene and nanotube electrodes materials

  •   Preparation and purification of electrolytes for electrochemical capacitors

  •   Large cell design and assembly including multi-cell systems with bipolar cell design

  •   Hybrid systems with rechargeable batteries and with renewable power sources

  •   Electric infrastructure needed for efficient operation of hybrid energy storage systems

Timetable for papers:

  •  The titles of papers should be submitted directly to Dr. Marincic by e-mail, fax, or by phone not later than 30 June 2012.

  •  The seminar program will be posted on this website, printed during the month of August, and mailed to all potential participants and attendees along with the registration and hotel reservation instructions.

  •  Full papers should be submitted by e-mail as an unlocked, i.e., not password protected, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Adobe pdf formatted attachment and be received not later than 1 November 2012 for inclusion in the preprinted book of proceedings and a pdf formatted CD.
